Senior Producer & Director of Client Development

Details: Hatch.IM is a full-service experiential agency, with teams of highly experienced designers, producers and communicators, who create spatial settings where environmental design blends with digital and sensorial experiences.  

As strategists, the Hatch team has been creating engaging brand narratives with some of the most disruptive category leaders in the world for over twenty years.  We help brands tell their stories through multi-channel interdependent engagements that weave IRL and URL together to captivate, inspire action and give agency in social impact.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties 

 

Budget Management $500k+

  • Create and manage project budgets for clients within my assigned book of business, ensuring that all expenses and change orders are tracked and kept within the allocated budget.  Ensure those projects achieve the standard Hatch P&L.

Team Management

  • Supervise and mentor the project’s event coordinators, freelancers, and other staff members involved in project execution providing direction, guidance and support.  The Senior Producer is responsible for ensuring project team members have clear understanding of and meet the requirements of all tasks and responsibilities necessary to complete the project.  

Creative Direction

  • Drive creative ideas and concepts, ensuring they align with the client's brand identity and objectives.

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Source and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, and overseeing their work.

Logistics and Planning

  • Develop comprehensive event production plans, including timelines, schedules, and logistics, and ensure all elements are executed seamlessly.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards for events and marketing activities.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure that all event elements meet high-quality standards and align with the client's expectations.  This includes supervision of fabrication and production partners and other vendors.

Feedback and Improvement

  • Gather feedback from team members and clients to identify areas for improvement in processes and project execution.

Each year, disruptors from around the globe converge to learn from and celebrate with the fearless leaders behind some of the world's most coveted, cult-like brands.

As the Brand & Experience Manager I am responsible for leading, developing and managing all brand, marketing and experience initiatives, creating an integrated program that enhances reputability and drives sales, business development efficiencies and KPIs. 


I am passionate about strategizing and implementing a cohesive marketing and experience ecosystem that produces noteworthy,  high-impact, revenue-generating results for both Cult Collective and The Gathering, and do so by managing all audience touch points and overseeing the implementation of the creative direction that drives the way we bring both Cult and The Gathering to life. 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties 

Experience & Community Management 

  • Enhance reputability by ensuring exceptional experiences via all audience touchpoints

  • Implement a mobilization and engagement strategy for a community of highly desirable business and brand leaders 

  • Manage an experience-focused communication strategy to ensure all audiences are armed with the information needed to best experience The Gathering  

  • Liaise & manage high profile relationships with top C-SUITE executives 

  • Jointly oversee and support The Gathering event production with production company 

  • Manage and optimize experience and community assets including websites, event app (Bizzabo) and chat bot (Drift) etc. 

  • Work with the Senior Leadership team as directed


Marketing 

  • Drive ticket sales and generate high-intent new business prospects through managing paid digital advertising campaigns, including asset development, third party party providers, automation and optimization strategies.

  • Create an integrated marketing strategy through management of all owned channels including website, social media, event platform (Bizzabo) and email marketing

  • Identify and activate an ecosystem of affiliates to increase the organic promotion of The Gathering 

  • Use data to drive overarching marketing strategy and increase US exposure for both Cult and The Gathering


Brand Development & Creative Direction 

  • Lead and further develop creative direction, style, and tone of communication on marketing initiatives across all owned channels

  • Ensure consistent brand representation by creating a creative resource bank that can be used by affiliates to promote The Gathering 

  • Assure all customer-facing creative creates a seamless visual narrative leading to The Gathering’s in-person experience 

  • Act as the primary brand steward, consistently maintaining a distinct and impactful brand voice

Content Programming

  • Build a content framework / schedule that promotes an optimal experience for both The Gathering’s speakers and attendees

  • Research and source potential speakers and support the honoree nomination process 

  • Review and edit session titles and abstracts and other session deliverables

  • Lead all pre-summit content sessions, educating speakers on the expectations for content and ensuring the most value and learnings will be provided for attendees 

  • Review draft presentations, communicate feedback to speakers 

  • Use research and social listening to develop valuable thought leadership that will effectively position Cult as subject matter experts

  • Find innovative ways to use Cult’s book, FIX, as the gospel that drives all of the agency’s marketing initiatives

National Digital Marketing Coordinator

Synopsis: Email Marketing + Website Management + Digital Advertising + Digital Publication 

Details: This role was a fast-paced, dynamic position which provided strategic support to MNP's national marketing initiatives. Primary responsibilities included facilitating webinars, providing meaningful analysis of digital campaign elements and building key components such as landing pages, broadcast emails, web posts and more. Some day-to-day tasks included:

  • Managing all project components for digital advertising (display, native, video, search etc).

  • Using basic HTML while posting updates to company web properties with Sharepoint.

  • Executing database marketing and email campaigns using various marketing automation tools.

  • Coordinating schedules for digital content, supporting branding and business campaigns.

  • Collaborating on the production of digital marketing assets within digital and creative teams

  • Contributing to innovative solutions tailored to the unique needs of various campaigns.

  • Researching, developing and tested digital marketing assets.

  • Creating digital marketing assets such as landing pages, emails and basic graphics.

MOUNT ROYAL UNIVERSITY

Marketing & Events Manager

During my time at Mount Royal University, I had the opportunity to significantly expand my skillset through a diverse portfolio of marketing and communications projects. I was part of the award-winning committee responsible for launching a new, inclusive MRU Cougars brand across campus. Some of the project elements included current brand analysis, visual identity refresh, video production, campus roll-out and more. Responsibilities included: 

  • Planning, developing and executing department-wide marketing and communication strategies.

  • Creating an effective and user-friendly website using Oracle Content Management.

  • Leveraging analytics to drive digital strategy and continuously enhance the online experience.
